Teacher: Megan Smith
Level:    ALL
"It may be Jen rubbing off on me, but I am serious about the "Awesome" hit. Taiko is awesome and we want to hit it awesomely. My training in Japan was where I learned how to hit well, and now I never think of it. Once it is in your body, you are freed to express everything else you want to express. My technique/method is Shidara's method of hitting. I know I talk about the capital D and this is that again, but [these will be] classes where we focus on it, hit alot, and try it on all types of drum positions: Odaiko, yatai, shime, naname, 'beta' style, okedo. Classes will include instruction, coaching, and lots of hitting. ALL LEVELS welcome and desired. Please come." - Megan Chao Smith
